 We are pleased to invite you to the 9th GEM International Research Workshop to be held in Murcia on 6th and 7th of July 2015. 
 
 MAIN THEME AND CONFERENCE TOPICS 
 
 The inspiring theme of the workshop is “Entrepreneurship as a social and economic phenomenon”. 
 
 The 9th Workshop based on GEM will explore the twofold  entrepreneurial phenomenon. We will highlight how social and economic issues are interrelated in entrepreneurial behavior  shaping  entrepreneurship development and  contributing  to sectorial, national and regional competitiveness. 
 
 Although the main audience of the Workshop is the scientific community linked to GEM, both Spanish and international, it is also open to any specialist or researcher in the field of entrepreneurship, young researchers  in particular. Of special interest are contributions related to the contrast of research methodologies aimed at the measurement of entrepreneurship, as well as the instruments for measuring the impact of public policies for the promotion of entrepreneurship.

 - On behalf of the organizing committee of the IX WORKSHOP BASED RESEARCH INTERNATIONAL GEM, we are pleased to announce that we will have the presence of Maria Minnitti, a professor at Syracuse University (USA) and renowned researcher in entrepreneurship internationally, who will give the inaugural conference and later a research workshop. On the other hand, we remember that the best papers presented at the Workshop will be published in the special case of Universia Business Review´s magazine and Faedpyme International Review.
